MIBC-F is a strong flotation frother with a wide range of action and high selectivity. Its application can be compared with MIBC. MIBC-F can be used with DOW-200, DOW-250, DOW-400, and AERO-65 to improve selectivity and material recovery. However, frothers are usually used in alkaline flotation. But MIBC-F is used in both acid and alkaline flotation systems, at a pH of 4 to 12. The components of MIBC-F belong to the methyl isobutyl carbinol family. Its consumption depends on the type of ore, particle size, and water quality, and is usually 10-40 grams per ton.
