Industrial MEG for Polyester, Antifreeze and Heat Transfer

Monoethylene Glycol (MEG) Supplier

Kane Ara supplies industrial-grade Monoethylene Glycol for polyester production, antifreeze and coolant formulations, heat-transfer systems and other industrial processes.

International buyers can request a quotation based on their required grade, technical specification, quantity, packaging and destination.

Exact purity, water content, colour, acidity, UV transmittance and controlled impurities depend on the selected grade and must be verified through the current TDS and batch COA.

What is Monoethylene Glycol?

Monoethylene Glycol, also known as MEG or Ethylene Glycol, is a clear, colourless and hygroscopic liquid that is fully miscible with water.

MEG is one of the most widely used glycols in global industry. Its main markets include polyester fibres and resins, antifreeze, coolants and industrial heat-transfer fluids.

Different applications can require significantly different quality limits. A grade suitable for a general antifreeze formulation should not automatically be assumed suitable for polyester, fibre or PET production.

Why Buy MEG from Kane Ara?

Kane Ara provides a specification-led procurement process for industrial buyers.

Our team can review your target values, provide available technical documents, prepare an export quotation and coordinate communication through the purchasing and shipment process.

Support is available for Russian-speaking and English-speaking customers in Russia, CIS countries and international markets.

The MEG market price changes according to international availability, feedstock and freight conditions. The actual quotation also depends on:

Bentonite Powder

Bentonite clay powder

Bentonite clay powder is the most widely traded form of bentonite, produced by grinding raw ore to a fine, consistent particle size (typically 200 mesh or finer) so it hydrates quickly and disperses evenly in liquid.

Kane Ara Sepahan supplies powdered bentonite in both sodium and calcium grades, mined and processed directly from its own deposits in Iran to meet drilling, foundry, and industrial specifications.

Because bentonite powder price depends on grade, mesh size, moisture content, and order volume, we don’t publish a fixed rate on this page — buyers can request a current quote based on their required specification and shipment terms.

Main Applications of MEG

Polyester Fibres and Resins

MEG is a major raw material in the production of polyester fibres and polyester resins. Manufacturers should specify application-critical parameters such as purity, water, colour, acidity and UV-related requirements when applicable.

PET Resin Production

Selected MEG grades are used in Polyethylene Terephthalate production for packaging, film and other polyester products. Suitability for a specific PET process must be confirmed through grade qualification and the producer’s specification.

Antifreeze and Engine Coolants

When blended with water, MEG reduces the freezing point of the solution and is widely used as a base material for antifreeze and coolant formulations. Raw MEG is not automatically a finished coolant.

Industrial Heat-Transfer Fluids

MEG is used in closed-loop heating and cooling systems, HVAC installations and industrial temperature-control processes. The operating concentration and inhibitor package should be selected by the system designer or formulator.

Deicing and Technical Fluids

MEG can be used in selected deicing, industrial-fluid and processing applications, subject to technical and regulatory approval.

Paints, Resins, Adhesives and Inks

Its water miscibility and solvent properties support selected uses in resins, adhesives, paper processing, printing inks and industrial formulations.

Pricing follows your specification, not a price list.

As a bentonite supplier with its own deposits and processing facility in Iran, Kane Ara Sepahan controls the full chain from mining to export — which is why buyers can source bulk MEG clay with consistent grade across repeat shipments.

Monoethylene Glycol price varies by grade, particle size, and order volume, so we work with each buyer directly to quote based on their exact specification, Incoterm, and destination port.

Buyer Questions
Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about sourcing MEG from Kane Ara Sepahan.

No. MEG is normally a base raw material. A complete antifreeze or coolant generally requires treated water, corrosion inhibitors, stabilisers, dyes and other application-specific additives.

No. Polyester and PET processes may require stricter limits for colour, water, acidity, UV transmittance and impurities. The offered grade must be qualified against the buyer’s requirements.

Available batch documents and sample options can be discussed during the quotation process. Sample shipment may depend on destination and transport restrictions.

MEG is an industrial chemical and can be harmful if swallowed. It must be stored, handled and used according to the applicable SDS, workplace controls and local regulations.
